Xiaomi 14 Ultra Camera Specs Revealed
Xiaomi said that the 14 Ultra has a comprehensive refreshed camera design. It uses Xiaomi’s advanced materials, pays close attention to details, constantly seeks changes in simplicity, and comprehensively evolves its shape, handle, and joints, add the company.
Xiaomi also shed more light on the camera system via its Weibo account. Starting with the main camera, you can expect a 50MP LYT-900 main camera (one-inch). The company says this packs a variable aperture able to open as wide as f/1.63.
Additionally, the company revealed that the phone will pack a 3.2x 50MP camera and a 5x 50MP periscope camera. These cameras both use an IMX858 sensor and have wide apertures for telephoto cameras, namely f/1.8 and f/2.6 apertures, respectively.
The periscope camera’s aperture, in particular, is an improvement over the f/3.0 aperture seen in last year’s Ultra phone. It’s also wider than the S24 Ultra‘s 5x camera (f/3.4). So we’re expecting improved low-light image quality at 5x compared to the Samsung phone.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra: Beyond the Camera
As far as other specs are concerned, reports have revealed that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a 6.73-inch AMOLED 2K 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and a 5,300mAh battery that supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device is expected to run on Android 14 with a layer of HyperOS on top.
The phone features a fully wrapped metal frame with exquisite details. Larger bilateral inclination, smoother lines and a better fit for the palm of your hand, according to the company. Color options include white and black with a vegan leather back and an aluminum frame. Just like the Apple iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, there is also a version with a titanium frame.
